About My Fast Fit

muscular and strong

Welcome everyone to My Fast Fit. I started this website to help people get lean, gain muscle and lose fat by intermittent fasting and the keto diet. I’m sure you will find some helpful information here to help along your fitness journey, regardless of what you are trying to accomplish. Fast Fit is a great start if you are looking for a different approach to dieting and getting lean.

My STORY

I started lifting weights when I was 20 years old. I did not focus too much on my diet just like most people do when they start. Mainly stuck to weight training and ate pretty much whatever I wanted. But of course, there came a point where I wanted to step up my game and look leaner, stronger and finally be able to see my abs.

There were so many diets I tried. Eating every 2-3 hours, 5-6 meals a day and the whole thing was just a nightmare, to say the least. Some people may have the time to eat 5-6 meals a day but I certainly did not. I pretty much have a 9-5 job and trying to eat a meal every 2-3 hours while at work would get in my way.

There has to be a better way to do this right?question mark

Looking online for some answers I came across intermittent fasting and a diet called the ketogenic diet or keto diet. After doing some research and learning about the benefits of these two diet methods I decided to give it a shot.

To me it just made more sense to approach these eating habits than the old “eat every 2-3 hours between 5-6 meal a day”. This did not come together overnight of course.

Four years after I started my journey into fitness I finally consumed enough information to stick with a workout and diet strategy that was simple, easy, and did not consume much of my time at all. Did not matter if I was trying to cut weight, get leaner, or bulk to gain more mass.

All I had to do was tweak what I ate and how I ate without over thinking it. It was really simple after I got the hang of it and I’m sure you will agree with me if you give it a shot. Remember to “keep it stupid simple”.

Why is My Fast Fit here to help?

If you have been into fitness for some time now or just getting started I’m sure you have been scratching your head as to why you are working out so hard and not getting the results you want. There could be many reasons for this but the main ones could be that you are either not eating right or should I say not eating a certain way.

My Fast Fit is here to help you resolve those problems by viewing things differently from the mainstream fitness media. I want more people to know about intermittent fasting and the ketogenic diet along with the benefits that it comes with.

Intermittent fasting + ketogenic diet + weight lifting =

low body fat fit lean muscle

By all means, if you find the traditional 5-6 meals a day diet plan easier for yourself and more beneficial than stick to it! There is nothing wrong with that.

Maybe you will pick something up on My Fast Fit that can help you get to the next level of physique you are looking for. None the less I am here to help everyone reach their fitness goals.

Keep it stupid simple!

Of course, we want to help everyone who would like to get fit or just simply lose weight to reach their goals! But we want to help you view things in a simple way that is easy to follow. Do not over think on your diet or exercises, especially in the beginning.

Intermittent fasting is approached in many different ways. For me, I fast for about 16 hours out of my day and eat for the rest of the 8 hours in the day. I know that sounds crazy and intense but hear me out! Eight hours out of the day I’m sleeping overnight. From the point, I wake up (say 7 am) to get ready for work. I simply just count 8 hours from there.

So 8 hours later would put me at 3 pm. From 3pm-11pm I have an eating window of 8 hours to consume the number of calories and nutrients needed to keep me going! From there it’s rinse and repeat.

And do not worry if that sounds confusing already, you will get the hang of things.

So please have a look around and If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to comment below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,

My Fast Fit

I enjoyed your article. I too practice intermittent fasting sometimes. I’m trying to eat more ketogenic because of my Type 2 Diabetes and do IF (Intermittent Fasting) some also. When I do, I try for 20:4 (20 hours fast and 4 hours of eating – usually one meal a day). When I discipline myself to continue this, I both lose weight and improve my blood glucose levels too.
